Clearground expands contract with large hotel chain

We are pleased to announce that we have had our contract with Interstate Europe Hotels and Resorts renewed and extended. The contract now includes the new Hampton by Hilton in Newcastle.

We will be facilitating the management of the waste streams and soft services across the group, throughout the UK.

We have had an excellent working partnership with Interstate for over three years – delivering commercial window cleaning, waste management, pest control, kitchen cleaning, and fan and extract cleaning services at their hotels across the country.

The multinational company manages over 400 hotels worldwide and plans to add a further 50 hotels to its UK portfolio over the next three years. Brands on the UK portfolio include Holiday Inn Express, Ibis, Doubletree by Hilton, Days Inn, Hotel Indigo and Ramada.

We had previously reviewed Interstate’s waste streams and reduced what goes to landfill by introducing food bins. This reduces / negates landfill tax, increases their green credentials and is one more step towards the Government’s aim for 2020 “zero to landfill”.
