Case study: Titanic Hotel Liverpool

The Titanic Hotel is a multi-million pound hotel development on Stanley Dock, Liverpool, which opened in June 2014.  Comprising of 153 luxury bedrooms, a bar, restaurant, spa and function room, the 1855 Grade II-listed building had previously served as a tobacco and rum warehouse until becoming derelict.

Clearground has worked closely with The Titanic over the last 15 months and has built a strong working relationship with the iconic Liverpool hotel.

We provide the 160-year-old building with window cleaning services both internally and externally. The dockside windows are cleaned on a weekly basis, due to neighbouring developments, via abseiling elevated cleaning. Bi-monthly cleaning is undertaken on all remaining windows.Spa_8

Further to this, the kitchen fan and extraction system in all of the four kitchens are deep cleaned on a 6 monthly schedule in line with government guidelines.

Our specialist drainage teams worked within the constraints of the Victorian sewer system, involving the desilting and sealing of manholes, installation of new valves to prevent flooding and the cleaning of the pump well and chamber.
